Private albums
Why delayed reveal belongs in a venue wedding photo product
A delayed album turns guest photos into a shared after-event moment. It also gives the venue time to check uploads, remove mistakes, correct names, and prepare downloads or print offers before the couple or guests open the gallery.
Make the reveal intentional
The event setup flow now includes a reveal date and a private album code. The public event page can invite guests into the camera during the event, while the album route stays locked until the reveal date has passed.
Keep the album private
The private album lives at the event URL with `/album/` added. Visitors must enter the event album code before photos are listed. The code can be shared with the couple first, then wider guest groups later if the venue wants a staged release.
Filter by event identity, not folders
Guest uploads from event QR links carry the venue slug, event slug, event key, venue name, and event name into storage metadata. The album only lists photos whose event key matches the event page. That prevents one venue event from leaking into another just because photos were uploaded on the same date.
Leave operator controls in admin
The private album is for viewing and downloading revealed edited photos. Corrections, deletion, ZIP exports, readiness checks, and print fulfilment stay in the protected admin centre, where a venue operator or Snoaper support user can manage the event safely.
