Why after-event print fulfilment belongs inside the photo manager

Guest photo apps often stop at downloads. A venue product should go further: it should turn the finished album into framed prints, small keepsake packs, thank-you cards, and guest reorders.

Why Prodigi first

Prodigi is the preferred first provider because its print API is built for print-on-demand fulfilment, it offers photo prints and wall art, and it has UK/EU production plus a wider global network. That matches wedding venues better than a generic merchandise-only provider.

The protected Wedding Party admin now has the first print API boundary: provider readiness, curated print packages, quote requests, order payload preparation, and a D1 print-order ledger. Live customer ordering should only be enabled after payment capture and public print asset URLs are configured.

How the integration should work

1. Select favourites from the admin gallery or couple gallery.
2. Generate print-safe JPG or PDF assets from the saved originals.
3. Request provider pricing and shipping options for the delivery country.
4. Take payment through Stripe and create the print order through the provider API.
5. Record provider cost, Snoaper revenue, venue commission, and order status.

Products worth launching first

Start with simple photo prints, framed hero prints, and a small curated keepsake pack. Albums and photo books can follow once the file selection, layout generation, and proofing workflow is stable.
